How special is Ganesh Chaturthi for you? How did you celebrate it in your own special way?

How special is Ganesh Chaturthi for you? How did you celebrate it in your own special way? DebinaBonnerjee: “It’s a very special festival for me and the whole of Maharashtra. It’s the biggest festival in Mumbai that unites and brings alive everybody with its festive spirit. I welcome Ganpati for 1 ½ day and this is my fifth year of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. While all my friends and family come home for Ganapti’s blessing, I welcome them by offering Khichadi and Bhaaji cooked by me. This year, I hope people welcome Ganpati by doing an eco-friendly visarjan and avoid polluting our beaches. I wish everybody a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi.” Aditi Sajwan: “Ganesh Chaturthi is special for me because this is the time when we get to welcome Ganpatibappa in our house and with him we welcome happiness, prosperity and enlightment in our lives too. In my family, Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated every year by bringing in the idol and observing fast for the first day with Visarjan on the next day. Its called " Dedh din keGanpati". There is a complete spirit of festivity as we decorate our pooja area with curtains, flowers, lights and worship Ganpatibappa the whole day. I want to wish all our viewers and all my dear fans a very Happy Ganeshotsav...GanpatiBappaMorya🙏” SumeetRaghvan, “All festivals are special and Ganesh Utsav is very special to me. We say ‘GaneshaNamaha’ when we start a journey, be it work related or plain travel. Ganesh Ji is an integral part of our lives. For the past 20 years, we celebrate Ganesh Utsav by keeping a silver moorti for 1 ½ day. Since me and my family really care for the environment, we just dip the moorti in water and keep it back in our locker. Flowers are put in a vermi culture box that transforms into soil that we use for our plants. We distribute sweets amongst urchins. I would request all Mumbaikars not to take our environment for granted. Let’s not forget mother nature in all this frenzy.” Atul Malikram 9755020247 Mailer.atulmalikram@gmail.com
