Versatile actor Angad Hasija best known for the varied characters he has played on small screen from a lunatic a loving husband is back on TV after a long time. So, we caught up with him and below are a few excerpts from the interview: 1. How does it feel to be back with a show on &TV? Previously, I have done Saumbhagyalaxmi and Dilli Wali Thakur Girls on &TV. And I must say that my character in Waaris is very different from what I have played so far and will surprise the audience. 2. Have you watched the show Waaris before? I have not followed many episodes but my mom religiously follows the show and I am happy that I am a part of a show which my mom already is an ardent viewer of. 3. Tell us a little about your character. My character “Chander” is very cheap and badtameez. He is the exact opposite of me because of which I had to go through a lot of preparations to get into the look and feel of the character, i.e. the way he talks, the slang and body language. What I like most of the character is that I get a chance to prove my mettle as an actor. 4. How is the rapport with Aarti Singh and the other actors on the show? I have known Aarti since a long time but I am working with her for the first time on a show. We are friends and it’s really funny that I am playing her son-in-law on the show as we are both of almost the same age. So, I keep pulling her leg by calling her “Saasumaa” and she gets irritated and says “chup”. 5. Is your character a cameo or will be present hereafter?
